A mother discovers an illegal way to lose weight, with frightening consequences... especially for her daughter.


Commissioned by the Berlin Today Award and produced by Macchiato Pictures the short film is being shot and edited on location in Berlin with Michael in the role of writer/director. It will premier at the Berlinale Film Festival in February 2011.

A female doctor is forced at gunpoint to help a criminal transport a heart across war torn Congo in time to save the life of a child - they have 6 hours.


Produced by David Collins and Martina Nyland of Samson Films in collaboration with South African based DV8 Films, the film will be shot on location in South Africa. It will be Michael’s debut feature as writer/director.

An ambitious scientist risks taking her child to a remote island off Borneo in search of a living specimen of the missing link.


Funded by the Irish Film Board, Michael is currently working on the first draft of the the screenplay.





Feathers are ruffled when a new arrival at the orphanage threatens to upset the pecking order.


Short film recently shortlisted for the Irish Film Board Signatures award scheme.
